1. Introduction
People are particularly concerned about the reliability of products, such as "durability" and "no failure". Reliability issues are actually product quality issues. As the use time or number of times of weighing sensors and electronic weighing instruments composed of weighing sensors continue, the products will experience performance fluctuations, fail to complete the specified functions, and eventually fail (or become unstable). This is the manifestation of the "reliability" problem of electronic weighing instruments.
Reliability design and manufacturing are crucial to improving the reliability of weighing sensors and electronic weighing systems composed of weighing sensors.
The reliability index of products has become an important quality index of weighing sensors and electronic weighing instruments, and is the main sign of product market competition. Manufacturing companies should attach great importance to "reliability" work.
2. What is reliability
(I) Definition of reliability
The definition of reliability by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO): "the ability of a unit to complete the specified functions under given environmental and operating conditions and within a given time". The "unit" here can refer to "component", "complete machine" or "system". According to the national standard GB-6583, reliability refers to the ability of a product to complete the specified function under specified conditions and within a specified time.
For example, the reliability of weighing sensors and electronic weighing instruments composed of weighing sensors is the continuous working time without failure under specified environmental conditions.
(II) Reliability is a product quality issue
1. Product quality composition
Product quality is determined by three aspects: technical performance, reliability and economy. As can be seen from the above, the reliability issue is actually a product quality issue, and the reliability index is one of the important indicators for measuring the quality of electronic products.
2. The relationship between product technical performance and reliability
If the product quality is unreliable, no matter how good its technical performance is, it will not be able to play its role, and even lose its use value. Therefore, only products with good technical performance, durability and full reliability can be considered good products.
3. Three major elements of reliability
Durability, the product is trouble-free or has a long service life. Maintainability, when a product fails, it can be quickly and easily eliminated through maintenance or repair. Design reliability, which is the key to determining product quality. The ease of use and operation of the product is fully considered during design. The easier the product is to operate, the less likely it is to have malfunctions and safety issues caused by human error or other problems.
